Rebecca L. Berg has practiced law for more than 30 years. She is board certified in elder law from The Florida Bar and was among the charter class of attorney to be certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA). Martindale-Hubbell has rated Ms. Berg as an AV Preeminent attorney, signifying that her peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence. She is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Law. Ms. Berg is currently the board chair of AgingTrue, a nonprofit that provides community services for seniors, and is a member of the Special Needs Alliance, a national invitation-only association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and a member of the Jacksonville and Florida Bar Elder Law Sections. She is a member of the Robert Foster Inn of Court, Nassau County, Florida, an association of attorneys that promotes ethics, legal skills and professionalism. Past achievements include serving as chair of the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar, and serving on the boards of Hubbard House, Planned Parenthood and Hope Haven Children’s Clinic and Family Center. Ms. Berg’s honors and awards include honoree of the Duval County Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, University of Florida Presidential Recognition, National Organization for Women Susan B. Anthony Award and Community Service Award, and election to Florida Super Lawyers list.
